Thank you for your interest in the post of Deputy Headteacher – Pastoral and Safeguarding – at Tottington High School. The position has arisen as a result of the promotion of one of our senior leaders and we are looking for a Deputy Headteacher who is going to be able to make a significant, sustained and positive contribution to the next phase of our journey. You will be joining our school at an immensely exciting and important time and you will have the opportunity to work with committed and forward-thinking colleagues and with vibrant, talented students. There is huge potential at our school.
Our leadership team is very new, and we are looking for someone highly motivated and dedicated to join us. We have an amazing capacity for hard work because our students are truly worth it. In terms of attributes, you will need to be able to think on your feet, be flexible and have strong interpersonal skills. You will be resilient, enthusiastic and relentless in your approach.

Core purpose
The Deputy Headteacher will support the Headteacher in providing professional leadership for the school that secures its success and improvement, ensuring high quality education for all students and improved standards of learning and achievement. The post holder will be totally committed to the vision, beliefs and mission statement of the school.
