Providing students with an educational experience that is reflective of our vision - to offer a contemporary centre of educational excellence - is our goal at The Stockwood Park Academy.

Part of a family of schools

We joined The Shared Learning Trust in 2015; a stand-alone multi-academy trust which runs a family of schools based in Bedfordshire. The trust ethos permeates all that we do at The Stockwood Park Academy as we contribute to a collective vision – ‘Strive, Believe, Achieve’.

Leadership

We are on a journey of transformational change. Utilising the most recent Ofsted report to focus our strategy, the team are implementing improvements within teaching and learning and ultimately, improving student outcomes.

The Executive Principal and Head of School create a culture of high expectations and applies this to students (supported by parents and carers) and staff.

A broad enrichment programme offers students the chance to try something new; ranging from our flagship Football Academy and vibrant creative arts to student leadership and mentoring opportunities. We wholly believe this rich offer drives student motivations and raises achievement.

We aspire to develop every aspect of our students, to ensure they leave us as well-rounded citizens. Through the curriculum, students are encouraged to develop and foster ideas to become thoughtful and inquisitive learners. Stockwood Park students are challenged outside their comfort zone to strengthen their talents and work together to build team skills, all the while inspiring a passion for lifelong learning.

Our carefully developed academy plan is designed to help every student to achieve the best that they can; fulfilling and exceeding their potential where they are able to. By utilising quality assurance methods and constant assessment of student progress, we are able to adapt our approach continuously; ensuring every student receives a level of support tailored to their individual needs.
