About Tele Radio UK

Developing radio control systems for more than 60 years

Tele Radio develops, manufactures and markets safe radio control systems for industrial use. The company was founded in Sweden in 1955 and has since developed into an expansive group, the Tele Radio Group. The head office is situated in Askim just outside of Gothenburg, Sweden and there are several subsidiary companies in Europe, the USA, Australia and in Asia. In addition to their subsidiary companies they also cooperate with their dealers and partners all over the world.

Research and development

Tele Radio UK does all their own research and development. With more than 60 years of experience they have solid knowledge and experience of radio control systems. Their mission is to provide end-to-end product solutions, technologies and services in the field of wireless equipment control and machine communication, where reliability and safety are the key decisive factors. They reach these goals by making all their employees be part of the process and take responsibility for their respective areas of work. Their utmost goal is to provide you with solutions that will add value to your business while at the same time provide impeccable support when you need it.

"We do all their own research and development. With more than 60 years of experience we have solid knowledge and experience of radio control systems. Their mission is to provide end-to-end product solutions, “We use Tele Radio because of its outstanding service and support organization, something that is very important to them and their business.”

- Rune Wabø, Managing Director at Munck Cranes.

The company has a broad selection of products, from small transmitters to big joystick platforms and if the product doesn’t fit your application right away they adapt to you, not the other way around which is all too common. They want to bring something to you that will improve the way you work; they also believe in building a long-term relationship with you that goes beyond the sale. They want their products to add value to your work day.

Safe radio remote controls

Safety is a big concern to the company, being a Swedish company it is part of their essence. They put great effort into making their products as safe as possible. They spend considerable efforts to make sure their products meet the highest possible safety standards, and they have the certificates to back that claim up.

As you have probably guessed by now, theur products are not only safe but they are also robust and can take a beating. They know that their remote controls get thrown around, dropped, run over, get wet – and that is all fine, they had it in mind when designing them. They are meant to be used.

“Tele Radio remotes can handle a lot of mechanical abuse without breaking and the battery time is impressive.”

- Tomasz Fraczek, maintenance manager, Thames Reinforcements Ltd.

Company care

They also try to be a company that cares about the environment. They operate in the world and they use its resources to construct their products. The global climate and the planets well-being is a concern to them and they take the challenges seriously. Tele Radio is therefore certified according to the ISO 14001 standard. ISO 14001 demands that they take the responsibility to prevent pollution and that their company management takes full responsibility to improve year by year.

Reducing the carbon emissions through more efficient transportation is important to them. Limiting the use of harmful chemicals and elements in their products to safeguard both their customers and the environment. They also donate money to the WWF every year to preserve the endangered Tiger. Since the tiger features prominently in their marketing and being the name of one of their systems; it is only natural that they do their part in the conservation efforts.
