Tapton School
Academy Trust
CEO
Welcome
Thank you for showing an interest in the post of Chief Executive Officer for Tapton School Academy Trust, Sheffield.
We were established in 2011 initially as two schools. We are now a Multi Academy Trust of two 11-18 schools, two 11-16 schools and five primary schools (4 with nurseries), with a sixth primary school in the pipeline. We are the largest MAT in Sheffield with about 7,500 learners and over 900 staff including a strong central services team.
The planned retirement of our present CEO means we are seeking to appoint a new CEO to lead the Trust into its next stage of development. We believe this is a time of opportunity for the Trust, building on firm foundations and going forward to address the future.
Our schools serve diverse communities some are characterised by significant disadvantage whilst others are situated in more affluent circumstances. We believe that this diversity makes the Trust both exciting and rewarding to lead.
If you share our vision to realise the life chances and dreams of every child, and to secure the highest quality education and learning experience for all learners regardless of their individual needs and circumstances then I warmly encourage you to contact Martin Blair at Hays Leadership on 07736791138 or at martin.blair@hays.com for a private and confidential discussion about the opportunity.
I look forward to hearing from you and learning how you would work with the Trust Board, Executive Team and our headteachers to deliver our vision, achieve our aims and go forward confidently into the future.
Sarah Draper
Trust Board Chair
