Pension

Your pension is a valuable part of your reward package. Southend-on-Sea City Council provide membership of the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) to employees aged under 75 who have a contract of employment that is for at least 3 months.

The LGPS is a generous scheme and provides you with a future income, independent of share prices and stock market fluctuations

In addition to generous annual leave entitlement, 31 days per annum, Southend-on-Sea City Council also offers a range of flexible working and family friendly leave.
