About SWLPP

The South West London Procurement Partnership (SWLPP) came together on 1st April 2021 as a new single procurement service acting directly on behalf of their four partner Trusts: Croydon Health Services NHS Trust, Epsom & St. Helier NHS Trust, Kingston Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and St. George’s NHS Foundation Trust. They also provide services to the wider South West London integrated care system. The new service is hosted by St. George’s NHS Foundation Trust.

The purpose of the new service is to achieve better outcomes for their partner Trusts through a high-quality and collaborative procurement function. These outcomes will provide benefits for their patients, Trust staff and the wider health economy. The development of SWLPP is aligned to the NHS’ Long Term Plan and supports the strategic direction of the local integrated care system around regional collaboration.

Their new operating model represents a strong shift to regional delivery supported by expert procurement specialisms across all of their services. They are a service where staff contributions are fully recognised and valued by all, and their staff feel empowered to carry out their duties to the best of their abilities.
