Within the Trade and Speciality Division we currently have an opportunity for a dynamic new General Manager to lead from our Diss site in Norfolk.
Smurfit Westrock Diss is a fully integrated manufacturer of corrugated packaging and heavy-duty sheet board. It stands out as it supplies predominantly to the Trade sector with an emphasis on trust and confidentiality.
You’re likely to come from a paper-based packaging or packaging sector and you’ll likely bring a knowledge of the Trade sector. You’ll certainly have commercial flair and bring experience of supplying into Distributor networks, understand sales channels, working with Distributors, businesses, and merchants. As a strategic leader you’ll have a track record of delivering growth and demonstrable profits, but being entrepreneurial doesn’t mean that you overlook the desires of your Trade partners and the needs of your staff. In fact, you’ll probably be used to working in a unionised environment and your engaging style will mean that you bring staff alongside you as you seek new business opportunities and mitigate any risk to the business in the process.
