Romero CAT is a dynamic and growing Catholic Academy Trust serving the Diocese of Salford, with schools across Lancashire, Blackburn with Darwen and Calderdale. We currently serve a family of twelve primary and four secondary schools, proudly playing a central role in fulfilling Bishop John’s vision: that by 2030, every school in the Diocese will be part of a Catholic Academy Trust.
Our mission is rooted in the life and witness of our patron, St Oscar Romero, who reminds us to “aspire not to have more, but to be more.” Inspired by this call, we strive to shape communities that are grounded in Catholic Social Teaching and guided by our core values of Faith, Service, Aspiration and Collaboration.
