The Campaigns team provides the campaigns, policy and public affairs role for the REC. We provide advocacy on behalf of the industry, engaging with stakeholders in parliament, the civil service and others in the labour market to ensure the voice of the recruitment industry is heard. In the aftermath of the general election and with the new government setting out big plans for the labour market, providing this support to our members and the wider industry is key.

The Campaigns Team is a small and close-knit group made up of the Campaigns Director, Public Affairs Advisor and Campaigns Advisor. The Communications Specialist who manages all media engagement is also a part of the team. Whilst each of these roles has its own areas of focus, the team works closely on campaigns that may span various policy areas and sectors to ensure we can provide the best possible advocacy for our members. We also work closely with the research, and marketing teams to deliver our work. In a small team we share tasks and help each other out as necessary which means the work is always varied and interesting.
