The Campaigns team provides the campaigns, policy and public affairs role for the REC. We provide advocacy on behalf of the industry, engaging with stakeholders in parliament, the civil service and others in the labour market to ensure the voice of the recruitment industry is heard. In the aftermath of the general election and with the new government setting out big plans for the labour market, providing this support to our members and the wider industry is key.

The Campaigns Team is a small and close-knit group made up of the Campaigns and Government Relations Manager, two Campaigns Advisors and a Political Advisor. Whilst each of these roles has its own specialisms and responsibilities, the team works closely on campaigns that may span policy areas and sectors to ensure we can provide the best possible campaigns outcomes for our members. We also work closely with the research, comms and marketing teams to deliver our work.
