As a new member of staff, you can expect a smooth transition into your new role. We pride ourselves on providing help and support every step of the way in your induction, from pre-arrival support from our experienced HR team in helping to process visas, choose accommodation and book flights, to academic team support from colleagues that help you to understand the curricula you’ll be teaching, resources that you’ll have access to and the systems in place at the school. You’ll be assigned a buddy who knows the school and Shanghai well and can answer all those questions that you’ll want to know about for both yourself and perhaps your family. 

Personally, having the opportunity to work at BISS Puxi presented me with the chance to explore the international school environment and the prospect of a new challenge in a different part of the world. With my wife Lisa, we first visited China in 2004 and were determined to return to explore further. We have two young sons who have benefitted from the culture of shared learning within the international community, and I am confident that their experiences will shape their futures positively.
