As a member of our team, you will play an important role in supporting us in our vision to be the world’s most inspiring naval museum, enabling people to enjoy, learn and engage with the epic stories and experiences of the Royal Navy and its impact in shaping the modern world. The National Museum plays an essential role in raising public awareness and understanding of all aspects of the Royal Navy’s past, present and future, as well as caring for and conserving our vast range of collections, which includes historic ships, submarines and aircraft.

We are one of the world’s youngest National Museums, and our work is varied, challenging and fast paced! In our short history, we have grown and developed rapidly, with sites across the UK in Portsmouth, Belfast, Gosport, Hartlepool, Plymouth and Yeovilton. We have an excellent track record of making things happen, and we will get to where we need to be by being more commercial and generating more income. Since our inception, we have been successful in securing generous grants and donations, enabling us to transform access to naval heritage through our major capital programmes.
