About Muddy Boots
History
Muddy Boots began over 20 years ago developing software that enabled growers and agronomists to manage their farms out in the field. They very quickly moved up the supply chain to work with some of the largest fresh produce retailers and food brands across the globe.
Ever since their early years, they have been pioneers in web-based supply chain software and today they continue to lead the way.
Muddy Boots joined the TELUS family
Back in April 2020 Muddy Boots were very excited to become part of the TELUS family, a world-leading communications and information technology company. The acquisition provided them with the support of a global leader in communications and digital technologies, enabling Muddy Boots to grow in key markets, such as North America and Asia Pacific, and to accelerate the development of its digital supply chain solutions.
Sustainability
Muddy Boots help their clients deliver on their sustainability initiatives, and Muddy Boots is no different. When they built their HQ office in the beautiful Ross-on-Wye, they designed it to be as self-sufficient as possible.
They create their own energy from solar panels on their their south-facing roof, harvest rainfall, use air-source heat pumps to heat the offices, and provide flexible working and cycle-to-work schemes to try and limit cars on the road as much as possible.
Muddy Boots Culture
Muddy Boots people work hard! But they know the value of having fun as a team too. They love to get out in the great outdoors and regularly organise fun events for staff – they have even been known to climb mountains!
Each year Muddy Boots choose a charity to support and have an employee led 'Our Way' committee who are dedicated to finding innovative and inclusive ways of getting all of the team involved in fun social and charitable activities.
