About MIET
Manchester Islamic Educational Trust (MIET) was established in 1991 and now has 3 schools, MIGSG, KDGB and Manchester Muslim Preparatory School for primary aged children. MIET has remained committed to delivering a modern, faith-based education that combines academic rigor with Islamic values. The school’s follow the national curriculum while enriching it with an Islamic ethos, instilling the principles and practices of the Islamic faith into every aspect of student life.
Vision and Ambitions for the Future of MIET
MIET remains committed to providing outstanding education with an Islamic ethos, ensuring our students are well-equipped to succeed academically, spiritually and socially.
The demand for schools with an Islamic ethos in Manchester has grown alongside the city’s rapidly expanding Muslim population, driven by organic growth and immigration from across the globe. In response MIET is actively working to:
Expand pupil numbers
at all three schools to meet the needs of the community.
Establish additional classes
including a third form at KDGB to complement the successful three-form entry at MIGSG.
Explore opportunities to offer Sixth Form (A Level) education
and vocational training aligning with the aspirations of the community and preparing students for a variety of future pathways.
By joining MIET you will play a pivotal role in achieving this vision while leaving a lasting legacy for the future of our schools and community.
