We are a savings and loans co-operative.  We provide ethical financial services to our members.  Our aim is to promote savings and provide affordable loans to our members when they need them – whether that is to buy a new car, undertake household repairs, spread the cost of Christmas or pay off high-cost debts. Our signature product is a saver loan where members must save as they repay their loan, so that at the end of the loan they have a positive savings balance, making them less dependent on borrowing in future.

We are proud to trace our history back to the beginning of the credit union movement in the Britian in the 1960s, but as a modern business, our members can manage their accounts and apply for loans online or via an app.   We have a track record of growth that we want to continue – to ensure our business is sustainable and to make our great value loans available to all our members and potential members.  Last year we grew our loan book by 17% and we have equally challenging growth targets for our current financial year.
