Not only will you be joining a team who truly collaborate every day, you will be playing a key role in developing and building the finance department for the future.

Your new role

This key position will see you take charge of all areas of payroll for Leightons. You’ll use your broad payroll skills and knowledge to manage 8 payrolls across all divisions totalling close to 400 employees. You will manage the payroll end-to-end, including the processing of bonuses, commission and all statutory payments ensuring a very high level of accuracy. You’ll also provide a great service in answering queries both from the stores and from the Head Office. As the Payroll lead, you’ll be part of the finance team who are incredibly supportive and backed by a positive, engaging Manager!

What you'll need to succeed

In order to be successful, you should be proven in leading payroll end to end and in processing all statutory payments and deductions. You should be a very confident communicator, building relationships quickly across all areas of the business and in particular with the teams based within the stores. Excel skills are highly desirable alongside an IRIS or equivalent payroll system.
