About Financial Services

We deliver advice and support to our University Executive Team as well as to individual Schools and Services departments in the development and achievement of their financial plans. This is critical in supporting delivery of our strategic objectives both in teaching and research as well as ensuring sustainable resourcing in an increasingly challenging environment. 

Our department has responsibility in regards to financial control, management accounting and reporting, financial accounting, tax advice, accounts payable and receivable including credit control as well as procurement. We are also responsible for the production of key information and data provided to external stakeholders including the Office for Students as well as the University’s financial statements.
