About Scalford CE Primary School
Scalford CE Primary School is a warm, friendly and caring school, where children are encouraged to flourish.
It is a school, with capacity for 84 children, where the individual abilities and needs of all children are recognised and catered for, where every child feels their achievements are celebrated. We believe in every child, and that with high quality learning and teaching experiences, all children can reach their full potential.
Through providing interesting and engaging lessons, an enthusiastic and dedicated staff team, we strive to provide our children with the best possible start in life.
As a Church of England School, our values are grounded and rooted in Christian values, where mutual respect, community spirit, kindness and care for others are all actively encouraged . We believe that a values based Christian education, provides a strong basis for future success. We encourage respect, tolerance and honesty across all members of the school and community, and we pride ourselves, that as a small school, we know our pupils and families well.
The school is located in the beautiful village of Scalford, just minutes from Melton Mowbray. Scalford School has always had strong links with the parish church of St Eglewin. The village provides a wonderful resource for both historical, environmental and geographical studies.

Thrussington CE Primary School is a small school, with capacity for 110 children, that offers much sought after, personalised learning opportunities for all children.
Our vision is a passionate commitment to learning and recognition of the uniqueness of the individual. We are driven by our desire to ensure all children achieve their best in a respectful and trusting environment, in partnership with parents, the Church and our community. As one big family.
We pride ourselves in offering a nurturing environment in which our pupils can achieve their full potential. We care for, and support our children, enabling them to flourish, whilst also challenging them with the highest quality of teaching and learning.
