We are committed to building a positive and enabling environment for all, and ICT adheres to our university values and behaviours that guide our behaviour as a community.
ICT is committed to attracting and recruiting diverse talent, including greater representation of women in technology. This is achieved through our links with technology organisation which promote women, and other initiatives, like our Women in ICT blog, ensuring the department has representation from all communities and minority groups.
Both the university and ICT regularly promote and celebrate Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) events, creating an inclusive working environment, community and culture for everyone.
ICT has received several external awards, nominations and recognitions for its commitment to diversity. Read more about ICTs EDI work.
We believe in rewarding those who go above and beyond their role, the university holds an annual garden party for those nominated and ICT have a quarterly ICT Awards ceremony - to recognise and celebrate the achievements and hard work of our staff in alignment to our values.
You can read about other ICT success Stories on our blog:
