Grace Academy has so much to offer! Building relationships with students and watching them grow has always been a huge positive, the students at Grace are very appreciative of our efforts as a teacher. We become role models for our students and having the opportunity to offer advice and guidance is a blessing.

Mathematics is a beautiful subject and to share that enthusiasm with the students is very rewarding. I like to stimulate our young minds with interesting problems and watching them work together to solve them and obtain solutions is always amazing to be a part of. The staff body in this school are like my second family, you will not find a more supportive staff body. There are many members of staff that will help guide and support you on your journey at grace academy.

It is not an easy job however knowing that I am making a difference to young people’s minds spurs me on and when students leave my classroom saying thank you, I know it’s all been worth it.

Each day is never the same and this is something that I thoroughly enjoy as it allows you to use your initiative and think outside of the box to achieve results. The number of diverse students ensures that I am continually learning and expanding upon my own knowledge and experience. This ensures that our students receive the best possible education, whilst developing key skills that will prepare students to enter the workforce or further their education. Which reminds me of why I accepted the opportunity to work for Grace Academy.

I am fortunate to work alongside highly talented and experienced Teachers, and external outside agencies, there is a sense of working, being part of a family group. I am never short of support from our leadership team. Joining Grace Academy truly was the best decision I ever made, it is challenging but highly rewarding.

Grace Academy Coventry is a fantastic place to work. I truly feel privileged to have worked at the Academy for over 11 years. I have had the pleasure to be a part of many reforms at this Academy; this has certainly helped me to develop stronger as a teacher. Grace Academy Coventry has a diverse make up of students making each day unique. Staff here are enthusiastic in their roles and are always happy to support each other. There is never a dull moment in the Academy, we all work together to support our school vision and to provide the best opportunities for the children we serve.
