We believe that the best way to create a culture to be proud of is by living the values that are closest to our heart. Our four values reflect how we act today, and how we aspire to continue to act in the future:

• Clarity: Keeping it simple. We listen carefully and communicate clearly. We aim for a shared understanding.

• Empathy: Taking time to understanding others, especially our staff and customers. We deliver great customer service by listening and focusing on meeting customers' needs, especially those who are more vulnerable. We listen to staff too and work hard to address issues. We don’t see problems, only opportunities for improvement.

• Integrity: Being open and honest and not letting our customers or people down. We work in an ethical and straightforward way and honour commitments and promises we make.

• Teamwork: We work together as one team, acting as a united front towards a more sustainable future.

We have set a goal to become an “Employer of Choice” and have embarked on a cultural transformation journey which we named the 'Re-energising Project'. The aim of this project is to help position us as an Employer of Choice; both for the benefit of our people and the organisation.

This project has been embraced across the entire organisation with buy-in from all levels of staff right to the top.

There are four key pillars to the project:

• Building career pathways

• Creating the right leadership climate

• Employer branding

The project will be key to the future attraction and retention of talent to the organisation and there is clear recognition that people are central to the future success of the business.
