About

About us

ESCP Business School was founded in 1819. The School chooses to teach responsible leadership, open to the world and based on European multiculturalism.

Six campuses in Berlin, London, Madrid, Paris, Turin and Warsaw are the stepping stones that allow students to experience this European approach to management. Over the past 200 years, generations of entrepreneurs and managers have been trained in the firm belief that the business world can feed into society in a positive way.

This conviction and ESCP’s values - excellence, singularity, creativity and plurality - daily guide our mission and build its pedagogical vision.

Each year, ESCP welcomes 8,000 students and 5,000 managers from 122 different nationalities. Its strength lies in its many business training programmes, both general and specialised (Bachelor, Master, MBA, Executive MBA, PhD and Executive Education), all of which include a multi-campus experience. We empower business and individuals by offering a transformational learning experience that goes beyond the classroom as we help them to develop skills and mindset.

ESCP Business School is multi-accredited, with AACSB, EQUIS, EFMD MBA, EFMD EMBA, and five European Higher Education accreditations. The School goes through numerous accreditation processes each year, guaranteeing the quality of its programmes and supporting its commitment to continuous improvement.

Mission, Vision and Values

Driven by European values, ESCP Business School inspires and educates business leaders who will impact the world as we provide them with the relevant knowledge and skills. Our education and research contributes to the advancement of planetary, social and organisational progress.

We aspire to be the leading brand recognised for the education of business leaders and implementation of ideas that make business economically, socially and environmentally sustainable.

What we fundamentally believe in at ESCP

EXCELLENCE

(excellent in what we do)

SINGULARITY

(singular in who we are; others cannot imitate)

CREATIVITY

(creative in how we think and design)

PLURALITY

(plural in how we believe and behave)

The ESCP brand is based on strong values closely linked to the School’s mission to inspire the multicultural leaders of tomorrow:

  • Excellence (academic and professional) both in the profiles recruited and in the teaching offered

  • Singularity of the European model and identity

  • Creativity linked to the importance of innovation and entrepreneurship in the history of the School

  • Pluralism of the multicultural and interconnected world in which students live and work

These four values are also typical of European culture and it is therefore no surprise that they underpin ESCP’s beliefs.

How we work

With over 700 FTE staff across our six campuses, we have an agile, vibrant and innovative community who share and live our values. Our staff are passionate about the School’s mission; meanwhile, as employers we empower them to try new things beyond their day-to-day work, giving them the tools  and support to develop themselves in their own way.

Our mission unites both staff and students to make a positive impact on the world by delivering high quality of research and education. By joining ESCP you will be able to make a real difference, providing vital support to our community.

We are constantly growing and evolving, and our staff and at the core of this process. We all work together to create a culture that supports a world-class business school.

Career Development

At ESCP we help our staff to develop in their own areas and also provide learning and further career opportunities. The staff of ESCP are our most valued asset. Every year, training and development needs are identified and further competency development is planned.

We offer staff a rewarding and unique opportunity to meet people from around the world, a professional and fun platform to develop your experience of working with young people, and the opportunity to develop key employability skills.
