Assalamu Alaikum (Peace be upon you)

I am delighted to welcome you to Eden Girls’ School, Waltham Forest careers site. I hope it provides you with a flavour of our exciting opportunities for our pupils and our staff.

We are a new Muslim faith secondary school for girls. The school opened in September 2014 with 150 girls across Year 7 and Year 8. Each year we will welcome another set of pupils into Year 7 until we have 500 11-16 year olds in 2017. In 2018 we will open a 200 place sixth form. We promote fundamental British values and welcome applications from all faiths and none.

The school has an inclusive approach to faith, welcoming pupils of all faiths and none and recognising that we are all part of, and contributing to, something far greater than ourselves. We are part of a successful family of schools, run by Star Academies. Like all Star schools, we have “Leadership” as a specialism.

We provide a school where high-powered learning, progress and achievement is coupled with a commitment to wider personal progression, including the development of character and an intelligent moral, spiritual and ethical compass. We aspire to develop learners who are outstanding human beings, active and participatory citizens and exemplary members of their community – contributing to the development of a successful society.
