Finance Business Partner Role for Eastleigh Borough Council

Your new role

Your new role will involve assisting with financial controls to achieve operating within a balanced budget each financial year. You will business partner with senior stakeholders and the wider business to support commercial business and strategic decisions. You will effectively handle all queries from key budget holders and proactively help manage expenditure and income in the areas of the Council including costings, analysis of data and the production of business plans. In addition, you will represent Finance on project boards and working groups, including councillors and external parties.

What you'll need to succeed

You will be either AAT qualified or part qualified (CIMA, ACCA, CIPFA). You will demonstrate strong technical accounting skills and advanced Microsoft Excel skills are essential (including data manipulation, pivots and v-lookups) for this position. You will have strong communication skills and business partnering experience to build and manage relationships.
