Welcome
Eastleigh Borough Council was recently described in its Corporate Peer Review as ‘a well-run and successful Borough Council with a clear vision and ambition to shape the place and improve the lives of local people’, and the Finance team are a key part of the delivery of this vision.
This is a great opportunity to join a finance team looking to build on it’s successes at an innovative Council. The team has been growing in recent years, and we are now looking to add new roles into the team covering various disciplines, all with the goal of helping to deliver the Council’s objectives, whilst ensuring the long-term financial success of the Council.
The team is involved in all areas of the Council, from newly implemented performance processes led by Finance Business Partners, to the monitoring of a commercial property portfolio worth in excess of £200m, to being at the forefront of helping to deliver the Council’s One Horton Heath Housing Development, that will deliver a brand new 2,500 home housing development in the Borough, a vibrant local centre, primary school and sports fields, alongside new commercial hubs, connected spaces and informal areas for wildlife to thrive.
If the above interests you and you are looking to join a well-established, forward thinking Finance team, with the opportunity to get involved in a wide range of Council activities, we would love to receive your application.
