Recent projects

Doran Consulting offers committed candidates the opportunity to work on major, innovative local and national infrastructure projects, some of their recent key projects include:

• Victoria Square Redevelopment, Woking: Doran Consulting is providing structural and civil design advice on the construction of this new £420M retail and leisure development which will provide 125,000ft2 of new retail space, a 200 room four-star hotel and 400 residential apartments in the heart of Woking, Surrey.
• Off-shore Wind Turbine Assembly Facility, Green Port, Hull: Doran Consulting acted as Lead Designer on this £51M multi-award winning project which involved the construction of the UK’s largest offshore wind manufacturing, assembly and installation facility at the Port of Hull’s Alexandra Dock.
• Caithness Moray HVDC Interconnector, Scotland: Doran Consulting has been appointed to provide civil and structural engineering advice on this £35M high voltage direct current (“HVDC”) link across the Moray Firth, which represents the largest investment in north Scotland’s electricity network since the 1950s.
• New Omagh Hospital, Northern Ireland: Doran Consulting was commissioned to provide civil, structural and traffic engineering and design services and CDM advice on this scheme to provide an enhanced local hospital for Omagh. The new £75M hospital provides a range of state-of-the-art primary health and social care facilities for the local area.
• Teesside Biomass Plant: Doran Consulting was appointed as Lead Consultant providing civil engineering design advice for this new £200M biomass renewable energy plant in the northeast of England.
