At BOC, our procurement team vision is: “To be a high performing procurement organisation where we collaborate to deliver the productivity improvement and efficiency via strategic sourcing solutions, enhanced process automation, and the use of analytics to drive our forward-looking sourcing decisions”. Procurement plays an important role in not only helping BOC/Linde to achieve  productivity improvement targets, but also in creating values in the supply chain and competitive advantages for our businesses. Our aim is to strike the balance between efficiency and the “best in class” relationships management by leveraging on the technology to enhance our process automation but not let automation isolate us from fostering and maintaining relationships and with our key internal and external stakeholders.

To achieve our vision, we are implementing a new procurement organisation structure and undertaking a team transformation. We want to build an adaptable, agile, and technology savvy team that understand how procurement can create value for the business.
