We are a Best Companies UK top 100 mid-sized company who are proud to carry a two-star accreditation for our outstanding levels of workplace engagement.  As a truly multi-disciplinary organisation with over 45 years’ experience, we carry all main disciplines in house operating nationally from our London and Birmingham offices across housing, education, health, care, blue light, and commercial sectors.

Employing nearly 200 members of staff, we recognise our employees are our greatest asset and provide a supportive and creative environment where they can flourish. We have developed a long-standing reputation for providing a high-quality service with many of our projects receiving industry recognition and awards. We also hold influencing roles within leading organisations including the RICS, BCIS and Housing Forum where we seek to promote best practice and impart knowledge amongst fellow professionals.

We believe investment in our staff is of paramount importance and have invested heavily in Learning & Development in recent years, building on our strong mentoring, training and personal development programmes, which continue to breed success supporting professional routes to qualification through organisations including RICS, RIBA and CIBSE. We also operate a “Growing Our Own” campaign providing career opportunities for apprentices and trainees from local schools and colleges which complements our Graduate and Year Out Programmes, consistently recruiting 10+ candidates annually.

Offering something back is also really important to Baily Garner. All staff receive an additional day off for their birthday and are also allocated two CSR Days a year to support a personally chosen community cause or initiative. Most recently at Christmas 2020, we were also delighted to donate £15,000 to charities chosen by our staff including Crisis, Mind and Wellchild.

Undoubtably, the world in which we work is ever evolving and the fact we are a privately owned business enables us to remain agile and respond to new ways of working. We operate a unique, flexible core working hours structure and all staff are equipped with modern IT to ensure highest levels of business efficiency, resilience and continuity, which has stimulated positive growth over the last 5 years.
