Welcome

Welcome

Our goal at Aspire is to change the course of the most vulnerable children’s lives in our city. Aspire is a 20-place alternative provision that is aiming to increase to 40 in September, therefore we are looking to recruit fantastic practitioners to join our already fantastic team.

We are lucky to be part of growing, very successful trust who actively encourages children to become leaders by preparing them for a bright future. Our students face adversity every day and our job is to ensure this doesn’t shape their lives and prepare them for future learning.

As the Head of School, I truly believe that people work better when they have a common goal and an enjoyable and rewarding workplace. At Aspire and The Great Schools Trust we have a world class career development program and significant opportunities for our colleagues in an environment where promotion is actively encouraged.

We are currently sharing a building with one of our other schools while we wait for our build to be completed. This is a purpose-built centre that will meet the needs of our children and staff. We are looking to attract colleagues who have ideas, are inspirational, innovative and truly dedicated to the development of our young people and the environment that we have created. If you have what it takes to help move our school to the next level, then we will look forward to reading your application and hopefully calling you to interview.

An Exciting Time to Join

When moving into our new building we will have a great, well thought out, purpose-built learning environment that is centred around our young people and their progression but also that of our staff.

We have come a long way from our inception in 2017 and gaining our free school status in 2018 but we need people who share our ethos and understand that alternative provision is hard work but the most rewarding. Please don’t take our word for it, arrange a visit and come and see for yourself.

If you are interested in moving forward within a focussed team who are highly committed to serving its students, staff and community, then we welcome your application.

About us

About Aspire Centre

Aspire Centre is a growing Alternative Provision, based at King’s Leadership Academy Liverpool, supporting young people to thrive in our safe and secure environment.

We firmly believe that if young people feel valued and safe and that their teachers and mentors have their best interests at heart, then they will commit themselves; they will work harder; suffer fewer distractions; become more motivated and achieve more.

Our experience of working with the most vulnerable and challenging children and young people in mainstream provision settings over many years has been that they will achieve, mature and become responsible young citizens given:

  • Clear structures and boundaries within an ethos of high expectations and no excuses.
  • Extensive personalised character development programmes based on the Great Schools award-winning character education programme.
  • High-quality teaching and learning focussed on identified needs.
  • Structured family support.

For further information or to arrange a tour of the school please contact our permanent recruitment partner Hannah Connell, hannah.connell@hays.com / 07966 129 657.
