Managing Director
Salary: £100K - £120K per annum + bonus + comprehensive package
Allwood Recycling Solutions are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Managing Director to lead the company’s continued evolution and exponential growth through development of strategic goals and objectives. As the Managing Director, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company's operations, including finance, marketing, production, and customer service. You will work closely with the Executive Team/Board to develop and implement business plans, ensure financial performance, and promote a positive company culture
Your Responsibilities:

Develop and implement short-term and long-term business strategies and plans to achieve company goals

Ensure the company's financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting

Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure efficient and effective performance of all departments

Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, stakeholders, and other business partners in the waste or recycling industries

Monitor market trends and identify new business opportunities

Manage and mentor the executive team, providing guidance and support to ensure their success
- Foster a positive and engaging company culture, promoting collaboration, teamwork, and a focus on customer satisfaction

Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations in the waste or recycling industries
The successful candidate will have

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Environmental Science, or a related field in waste or recycling industries; Master's degree or qualified by experience (10 years+)

Proven experience as a Managing Director or in a similar executive leadership role (ideally) in the waste, recycling or sustainability industries

Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills

Strong business acumen and financial management skills

Ability to develop and implement effective business strategies

Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills

Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
