Who We Are
The Abbeyfield Wey Valley Society is a long-established charity that has been caring for older people across Surrey and Berkshire for more than 40 years.
We are proud to place care before profit, with a strong commitment to ensuring excellence is at the heart of everything we do. We operate six care homes—three in Farnham and one each in Reading, Dorking and Oxted, along with Home Care and sheltered housing. Our aim is to create a true “home from home” environment, delivering high-quality, compassionate care while maintaining financial strength. This ensures we can continue to invest in and expand our services to support the growing number of older people in our communities.

Our Governance
Governance is provided by a Board of Trustees made up of professional volunteers, while the day-to-day running of the Society is led by our Chief Executive and her team. Financial oversight is the responsibility of our Chief Financial Officer and service delivery is managed by the Operations team under the leadership of our Chief Operating Officer.
