Finance Manager, Finance Business Partner, Management accountant

Your New Role
As Finance Manager, you’ll take on a varied and key role within the organisation. This is a new position following the merger with Care for Veterans Charity and as such You’ll lead finance and act as the
business partner for this charity, helping to deliver outstanding services to residents, their families, staff, and governors. Your responsibilities will include delivering high quality management and financial accounts, continually improving month end, leading the preparation of management and statutory accounting for the Care for Veterans charity. Supervising the Assistant Accountant. Delivering timely management information, analysis to act as a business partner to the operational teams, support the Head of Finance with audit and finance improvements. You will also support, train and develop to assistant accountant. This is an exciting time to join RSG as you can play a key part in supporting and business partnering with a new arm of our organisation Care for Veterans and helping them achieve their best lives.

What You’ll Need to Succeed
You’ll be an ambitious and passionate finance leader with excellent communication skills and a respectful, hands-on approach. Charity sector experience is essential, as you’ll be mentoring, training, and developing the existing team. You’ll be a qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA) with experience in team management, business partnering, and financial control. Most importantly, you’ll have a genuine desire to make a difference and contribute to a greater purpose in your career.
