Supported Housing Officer needed for maternity cover contract for a housing charity in Bristol

Your new company
You will be working for a housing charity based in Bristol. You will provide excellent housing support to people with learning disabilities, and help them to work towards their aspirations for independent living.

Your new role
This Housing Officer role focuses largely on lettings, tenancy management and housing management with some rents management. You will lead on complaints and ASB and support the Housing Manager and support staff with housing administration tasks including council tax and housing benefits claims.

In normal circumstances, this role may include a substantial amount of travel, including some overnight stays so please be prepared for travel.

What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate will have experience within a housing management/supported housing management environment. Knowledge of ASB, lettings, void management, housing benefit claims and safeguarding issues will be essential.
You will have strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to work under pressure.
A qualification in housing would be desirable but is not essential.
