Ever thought about working in schools?
Considering teacher training in future?

We are looking for enthusiastic and committed people keen to pursue a career in education. This role would suit someone eager to make a positive impact with students and the ambition to inspire the next generation.

The Role
Phoenix Collegiate has a team of internal Cover Supervisors, as we know that trained cover teaching with a commitment to the values of the school and the ability to provide consistency in managing standards is the best for our students.

Cover Supervisors carry out varied cover and support duties in a busy school, for planned and last-minute teaching absences & maintain high standards of teaching and learning.

Phoenix is a multi-cultural 11–19 secondary school, serving over 1,900 students in the North of West Bromwich, close to the border with Walsall. Opened in September 2010, as a result of the merger of two local schools, Phoenix has quickly established itself as one of the highest performing schools in the area.

The Training
Hays Education has partnered with Phoenix Collegiate to offer a unique opportunity to gain experience working in a school and free training on the role of a Cover Supervisor.

Candidates must be available for three days training on Tuesday 10th, Wednesday 11th and Thursday 12th December 2024. Completion of training may lead to permanent job opportunities at Phoenix Collegiate or temporary work at other local schools.

Phoenix Collegiate and Hays Specialist Recruitment are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all candidates to share this commitment.
