About the role:
We are looking for an IT Technician to join our IT team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an IT Technician to take the next step in their career, stretching their knowledge and understanding, gaining experience through the role, and exploring new technologies as they emerge.
The successful candidate will join the outstanding IT Support Team providing end user support designed to prevent or minimise disruption to Teaching and Learning and operations across the School. The successful candidate will have a blend of personal qualities, including motivation, initiative, diagnostic problem solving and proactivity so that they might carry out the duties of the role with ease and success. It is vital that such a person has good communication skills, matched with approachability, alongside a passionate desire to deliver excellence. In exercising these duties, the candidate will demonstrate and practise a range of technical abilities, including server and network experience, hardware and software knowledge, and understanding of ICT related technologies, and they will also have a clear understanding of when to ask for support so that the service is maintained.
