To bring this to life, we are looking for a strategic leader for our newly created position of Head of HR Business Partnering and Redesign. This position requires a proven strategic business partner as your leadership will be critical to embedding the new operating model within the HR and Cultural Change service which goes live in June, whilst also enabling our senior leaders to achieve change by redesigning their services, driving performance and improving services, ultimately delivering excellence for Oxfordshire residents.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Lead and inspire a team of Strategic Business Partners, overseeing Organisation Redesign and HR Organisational Change

  • Develop Business/People Partners, and work with other enabling services, to develop and reposition Business Partnering to work in collaboration with business leaders to successfully deliver the four-year business plan

  • Collaborate with Senior Leaders to lead significant organisational redesign to reposition the organisation as a streamlined, efficient, and financially sustainable organisation, positioned to deliver improved services to residents

What you'll need to succeed:

  • Significant experience in HR people partnering and organisational change within a large and complex organisation
  • Proven experience in large scale redesign and effective collaboration with the wider organisation to ensure the organisation can deliver on business plans and is fit for the future
  • Proven ability to lead and influence diverse teams and deliver against continuous change and transformation, including working with other areas of HR services to enable delivery
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills, up to the most senior levels of leadership

This is a two-year fixed-term contract position paying £83,025 – 93,275, depending on experience, and is a hybrid role based in Oxford.
