SOCIAL WORKER - (school-based) - flexibility of term time, only working 32.5 hours a week.

Required as soon as possible.

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for you to join our team in our well-resourced ‘good’ school.

We are currently looking for an approachable, enthusiastic, self-motivated and hard-working individual to join our support team.

You will act as the School’s Social Worker.

This is a position in which you can grow and develop, occupying a key role within the school. This is a challenging yet rewarding role, working directly with children, parents/carers, focusing on offering support and developing your caseload to ensure the best outcomes.

The successful applicant will:

  • Under the general direction of the Headteacher – Expectations & Ethos, provide a high-quality and comprehensive social work service to children, their families and carers.
  • Develop relationships with children and families in order to provide the best, high-quality service.
  • Contribute to the planning and development of future services and policies to promote innovative ways of developing support to service users
  • Possess an appropriate social work professional qualification
  • Have a minimum of 12 months post-qualification experience of working in a statutory setting
