Estates Facilities
Estates Facilities are responsible for the management of the College’s land and buildings. We deliver many services, including management of planned major maintenance, responsive maintenance, minor improvement projects, cleaning, security and post.

Building Operations
Our aim is to provide effective principle points of contact between the College community and the Estates Facilities teams, in order to deliver effective and responsive services.
Each building has a:
- Building Manager and an
- Assistant Building Manager.
Their knowledge of the particular building and of the Departments operating within it make them an ideal point of contact for building related enquiries and issues.
Estates Facilities Maintenance are responsible for
- The overall maintenance and upkeep of all buildings, plant and infrastructure
- All services provided to buildings e.g. utilities, stored hot and cold water, heating and cooling, distribution of high pressure steam and ventilation systems.
- Over 20,000 assets and 70,000 planned and reactive tasks each year.
- 116 Buildings (across 17 Campuses and Halls of residence) and a GIA of 541,000m2
We are currently undergoing a review of Maintenance operations and are recruiting experienced skilled mechanical and electrical maintenance engineers who wish to be a part of an exciting future with one of the world’s best universities.
You will be a part of a team which delivers a first class service to support all the Colleges teaching and research activities as it moves into the next stage of its strategic plan.
You should be professional, self-motivated and innovative in your approach to solving problems and will be based at either our South Kensington or Central London Medical Campus sites.
