Graduate Recruitment Consultant

The Opportunity:
Hays Specialist Recruitment are currently looking for talented Graduates to join us as Recruitment Consultants. Recruitment is an exciting industry, fast-paced, competitive and people-orientated - and is very similar to running your own business.

What should I expect day to day?
As a Recruiter, you'll manage your own business and work in a commercial and entrepreneurial environment. You'll source candidates, win business, and match the right candidate to the right job. It's hard work as you'll have to hit sales and activity targets (and we have high expectations at Hays) but a career in recruitment is extremely rewarding - you can earn great commission and become a manager in just a few years.

What you'll need to succeed:
  • Passion for hitting targets and working in a competitive environment.
  • Determination, drive, ambition, energy and high levels of resilience!
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to build rapport quickly.
  • Self-motivation and enthusiasm.

What you will get in return:
You'll be working for a stable, global company with over 50 years of experience. We'll provide you with the most comprehensive training programme in the industry - which means you can progress from Associate to Director within 8 years.

Additional benefits include, but aren't limited to:
  • Significant growth to salary potential after Year 1.
  • Flexible working options.
  • Uncapped commission, paid 13 x per year.
  • Incentives and rewards, including referral bonuses.
  • Access to an Employee Assistance Programme and Virtual Doctor.
  • Annual season ticket loans, Cycle to Work Scheme and gym discounts.
  • Paid charity day #helpathays
  • Parents@Hays

Our interview process is currently fully virtual via Microsoft Teams ensuring it is accessible for all.

At Hays, we share a passion for creating a culture where there are opportunities for our people to flourish and succeed, whatever your background. We know that diversity of perspective and an inclusive approach, which encourages those experiences and views to be heard, is great for business and therefore your career with us.

What you will get in return: You'll be working for a stable, global company with over 50 years of experience. We'll provide you with the most comprehensive training programme in the industry - which means you can progress from Associate to Director within 8 years. Additional benefits include, but aren't limited to:
