Your new role

As a Recruiter in Glasgow, you'll work alongside an experienced Manager and control the recruitment process for specified vacancies in a specialist area of our construction market. Utilising your sales expertise, you will manage client relationships, adhere to a strict compliance process, source and liaise with candidates, advertise current roles and utilise our market leading database to successfully place candidates into the most suitable positions. Due to the high-performance culture at Hays, you will be required to meet monthly KPI’s and targets and you will receive the full support of your Manager to ensure these are achieved.

This new position has been created to support Business Development Managers in the Civil Construction sector, resourcing and engaging with candidates across a diverse set of job roles including Construction Managers; Site Agents; Sub Agents; Site Engineers; Civil Quantity Surveyors & Civil Estimators.

The context behind the creation of this new position is the fact the government has pledged to invest over £100bn in this market across the next year. The projects you will support will be varied but include roads, water, rail & power, so this is a massive opportunity for someone experienced in construction resourcing to expand their skill set and join an organisation who will offer progression and promotion opportunities in a candidate experience focused job.
