Key Account Manager, recruitment sales within the IT / Technology sector. Based at Hays in Cardiff.

KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER (Recruitment Sales)- IT - HAYS, CARDIFF

A full time experienced Key Account Manager (KAM) role in Hays Cardiff. This role is suitable for an experienced recruiter with a proven track record of successful new business generation and revenue growth, ideally within the IT/Technology sector. This is an excellent opportunity to shape a business and progress professionally as well alongside earning a competitive package and uncapped commission.

You will work within our successful Cardiff office, alongside some 30+ consultants, covering many of our core recruitment specialisms. Due to market growth we are looking for exceptional individuals to join the regions number one IT team.

Your new role

As a KAM, you will be responsible for developing a portfolio of clients including existing, historical and target clients. You will be proactive and empathetic in developing relationships virtually, face to face and over the phone. You will have a flexible approach and be able to demonstrate a track of record of quick wins through 'tactical' sales and larger account wins through a 'strategic' approach. You will work closely with a Recruiter who will be responsible for sourcing candidates and filling the job vacancies you generate. Together, you will be responsible for hitting and exceeding a financial target.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you must have a proven track record of developing, growing and retaining business within a recruitment setting. You'll demonstrate your exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to deal in a professional and empathetic manner with your team, clients and candidates. You will be ambitious and driven to progress your career through demonstrating your inquisitive nature and thirst for knowledge. As well as possessing both excellent written and verbal communication skills, you will have attention to detail with a strong work ethic to achieve great results. Due to the nature of this role, you must hold a full UK driving licence.
