Senior Recruitment Consultant (or above) to work for a FTSE 250 Recruitment company in London Victoria.

The Hays Human Resources team are looking for an experienced and ambitious Senior Recruitment Consultant (or above) to join our established team to run what has historically been, the highest billing temp desk across the specialism nationally. We are looking for someone who can make an immediate impact, ensuring existing relationships are maintained and new client relationships are developed.

The London Public Sector HR team have had an incredibly successful six years, whereby each year we have achieved fee growth. We are the second biggest region nationally, in regards to fees and we have the highest productivity per consultant across the specialism. In addition to this, the support and guidance you would receive from your Manager and Director is unparalleled and will provide you with the opportunity and skills to develop and progress your career path.

We work with many organisations across the wider Public Sector from large government departments, Higher Education establishments, Charities, Local Authorities and NHS Trusts. We recruit for a range of candidates and roles, taking in both generalist positions and those with a more specialist focus such as learning and development, management information, HR systems, projects and change, employee relations, resourcing and recruitment and diversity and inclusion.

As this desk billed over £250k last financial year, and regularly sits in the top five of the league table for HR nationally, this is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is ready to take their career to the next step, via a warm desk and a supportive environment. You will be recruiting for all levels of Interim and Contract HR professionals across a number of sectors, from HR Administrator to HR Director level. Although 70% of your desk will be recruiting temporary and interim positions, you have the added bonus of building upon your temp fees with Fixed Term Contract appointments. You will work collaboratively with an experienced team who are market leaders and have a great reputation, that you can thrive off.

Your objectives will be based around three key strategic themes. Be visible and build relationships in Hays HR more so than any other specialism because our candidates have the potential to be our clients and vice a Versa. Hays HR is all about building these customer relationships. Convert candidate relationships to client relationships, a candidate who has had a great experience with you supporting them in their job search is highly likely to come to you again for recruiting support as a client when they are looking to recruit.
