At Green Gorilla Software we help the owners of small, ambitious businesses to overcome obstacles, to achieve greater profitability and commercial success. We create innovative products for our clients, that allow them to unlock more profitable business; and we develop bespoke systems that make business operations more efficient, streamlined and manageable.
Our team has decades of experience in tech and software engineering. We design systems that meet business needs presently and continue to grow with them in the future. We have also helped numerous clients through the challenges of successful product innovation, from market testing through to minimum viable product and full launch.
The software that we create is particularly flexible, scalable and secure. We are experts in Ruby on Rails – the tried-and-tested development platform that underpins some of the world’s leading online services. We also have our own “tech for good” product, WellGiving, aimed at the link between physical exercise and its impact upon mental health.

About us
GGA was founded in 2012 by Paul Rhodes.We are a Ruby on Rails software development company; we love developing Ruby on Rails projects for start-ups ideas and global companies. We are now looking at expanding our team to help us work on a brilliant mix of client service work and internal product builds, including our own “tech for good” product, WellGiving.
WellGiving is platform that promotes wellness through increased physical activity for all, where literally every physical activity counts! We help companies, schools and charities to easily launch and complete virtual fitness challenges to improve the mental and physical health of their teams whilst supporting the vital work of charities.
At Green Gorilla we have a small, experienced team of developers, our team is actively involved in consulting, designing, developing and testing. Our talented team of developers use continuous integration, test driven development and an agile approach to write less code, that works, first time.
We’re a great bunch of people to work with. We operate an ethos of ‘total transparency’ and run monthly strategy meetings where every member of the team can have their say about where the company should be going as well as weekly Sprint Retrospectives.
We are constantly on the lookout for developers who like to think outside of the box when looking at solutions for our clients. Our typical projects last between 3 and 12 months and require 1 to 3 developers during that period.
