User Researcher - SC Clearance
What you'll need to succeed
My client is looking for an experienced User Researcher to join the team in an Interim Role, initially 6 months in a hybrid environment. You will be joining an experienced User Research Team. The team consists of a mix of permanent employees and interim contractors. The successful candidate will bring the below skills on board:
Conduct User Research for the ground-up
UCD-led redesign of an import case management system
Report to Portfolio Lead User Researcher and implement best practices in a service team
Work as part of the UCD core of a service team, including a Content Designer and Interaction Designer
Demonstrably support a service team by understanding and embracing UCD and UR that advances the broad needs of the Portfolio
Manage stakeholders, conduct research work on accessibility and ensure the service complies with the Service Standard
Utilise appropriate research methods and commit to best practices in data curation and ensure the continuity of UR knowledge for the Portfolio
Commit to training and/or presenting at UCD Communities of Practice (minimum once per quarter) to ensure all staff benefit from shared experience, knowledge, and expertise
Commit to developing and delivering a coaching plan for permanent UR, in agreement with the Portfolio Lead UR and Head of Profession
The role requires SC Clearance, exisiting active SC Clearance is desired. Candidates who can be cleared via UKSV will be considered.
