Are you looking for a role that blends commercial property expertise with the energy of a fast-paced market environment? As Estates Manager - Markets with City Property Glasgow, you’ll play a pivotal role in managing and enhancing the Blochairn Market portfolio, home to Scotland’s largest wholesale fruit and fish markets, as well as being the largest inshore fish market.

This is a unique opportunity to work at the heart of Glasgow’s trading community, ensuring the smooth operation and financial performance of a diverse estate. You’ll handle complex landlord and tenant matters, including rent reviews, lease renewals, and new lettings, while driving initiatives to maximise income and improve efficiency across wholesale and retail operations.

Your responsibilities will include preparing and monitoring budgets, managing service charge accounting, and delivering accurate reports to senior management. You’ll also provide expert advice on estates management and asset optimisation, working collaboratively with stakeholders across City Property, Glasgow City Council, and the wider Glasgow Family.

This role is ideal for a Surveyor with strong negotiation skills, commercial awareness, and a passion for delivering results in a dynamic environment. You’ll need excellent communication and problem-solving abilities, as well as the confidence to manage competing priorities and deputise for the Markets Manager when required.
