Your new company
Coventry City Council are looking to recruit several Social Workers into the LAC and Children in Care team.
Your new role
Your new role will be supporting children, from unborn to 12 years of age. You will be undertaking care proceedings/court work and working closely with children and families in care planning, reunification, transition planning.
You will be expected to travel a little outside of Coventry to go on visits for particular cases. The caseload is estimated to be around 16
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate is someone that values diversity and inclusion, a child at the centre of everything they do / child is safe (child focussed decision making and planning), someone trusted to do what they need to do and also to work as part of a team.
Knowledge of Adoption and court experience would be beneficial.
What you'll get in return
You will be placed in a hybrid position, minimum of 2 days per week in office, expected to come in for team meetings and duty.
Working through Hays, you will have a dedicated consultant and Candidate Care Partner who you will be able to contact when you need.
