Brooke House was established in 1967.  The age limit of pupils accepted into the school has been altered over the years and after the DfE approval in 2018, the school transitioned away from 14-21 to an initial 14-19 and then onto 11-19, which has seen the College admit 11-year olds into Key Stage 3 for the first time in the College’s history. Brooke House College is overseen by the Independent Schools Inspectorate.

The College is a very diverse community and for a significant number of students English is not their principal language, therefore the development of proficiency in English is a key component of the curriculum. The most recent aspect of what Brooke House College has to offer is very much founded upon its historic international student body. The College offers its university foundation programme ‘in country’ overseas and now has 8 centres across the world following this programme.  The development of the College’s online teaching programme will see the College develop its programme even more in the coming years.

Class sizes are small by design, allowing excellent interaction between teachers and students. The College has a fundamental passion for a wide variety of co-curricular activities. In 2008 the College added its now well renowned and respected football academy. Initially starting with just 11 players, this part of the College has grown to roughly 150 players.  The College also operates a very successful Motorsport Academy. The Motorsport Academy started in 2014 and is an innovative programme dedicated to developing young racing drivers while delivering a full academic education.
