Why should you join Cambridgeshire County Council?
Cambridgeshire County Council’s Chief Executive, Stephen Moir, talks about what a great place to live and work in Cambridgeshire is.
Cambridgeshire is a great place to work and live with a diverse population, an urban centre in Cambridge, historic Isle of Ely, Huntingdon and St Ives as well as more rural landscapes.
Large areas of the county are extremely low-lying, notably Holme Fen which is the UKs lowest physical point contrasting with the Gog Magog Hills and Castle Camps. Wicken Fen is a biological site of special scientific interest managed by the National Trust.
Our vision is to make Cambridgeshire a great place to call home. The citizens of Cambridgeshire are at the heart of everything that we do.
Everything that we do contributes to our priorities which are to achieve:
- A good quality of life for everyone
- Thriving places for people to live and work
- The best start for Cambridgeshire’s children
As an employee you will focus on making our vision a reality. Your work will make a real difference to the lives of people in Cambridgeshire.
