I joined DTS as a Capability Manager in September 2023, transitioning from nearly 15 years as an IT Operations Manager in educational settings. Since joining Birmingham City Council around 9 months ago it has been a great experience working as the Lead Asset Manager for the Asset Management Team within DTS. Everyone has been supportive on a personal level and when meeting the demands of the business. The focus on continuous improvement in ensuring security of the councils’ assets which have made my role here challenging but most importantly rewarding. I would recommend working here at BCC due to the support from fellow staff in ensuring development on a personal level but also a passion for development within the various service area(s) across the council.
