The Role

We’re looking for a Head of Global Sales to lead our global sales function. Reporting to the CEO, you will be responsible for developing lead generation and business growth among client organisations, with a particular emphasis on sales growth within the UK market. You will have direct reports across the UK, Finnish and Swiss based locations to work with you in achieving success.

  • B2B sales: A proven track record of B2B global sales experience, and notably within the UK market, having developed strong partnerships with well-informed clients and multiple stakeholders. You will be able to provide product and solution subject matter expertise of Hintsa’s scalable programmes to support client organisations, assess and understand client pain points and anticipate their requirements.
  • Lead generation: You will join Hintsa readied with an existing network of potential leads within the UK market as well as establish new client relationships from within an assigned prospect list to increase the number of Hintsa leads. You will be responsible for growing an overall portfolio of relationships with the skills and impact to successfully generate opportunities to close deals.
  • C-suite credibility: Develop and maintain strong strategic relationships with key decision makers, notably HR leaders. Effectively collaborate with industry experts and the Hintsa management team to develop strategies to use with key influential stakeholders within the client’s decision process and create action plans to influence decisions.

  • Sales and revenue planning: Defining and coordinating sales and revenue planning, forecasting and the budgeting process within Hintsa, and actively monitoring sales metrics.
  • Driving team performance: Experience of leading and driving the sales performance of remote teams across Hintsa locations to achieve ambitious growth targets. You will work with the marketing and product teams to deliver compelling tenders, tactical sales and marketing campaigns and steer these in alignment with client needs.
  • Marketing know-how: Work with our marketing team to strengthen Hintsa’s presence within the marketplace, enhance brand awareness as well as recommend new value-add solutions to grow customer demand.
  • Small start-up experience: You will have worked in and/or with smaller and scale-up businesses combining both the strategic level of responsibility that this senior management role demands with a hands-on, team-focused ‘no job is too small’ approach when required. Experience with agencies and/or a consulting background would be invaluable to this role.
  • Excellent communicator: You are comfortable dealing with C-suite level executives balanced with a natural ability to lead a global team to successfully deliver on Hintsa’s growth objectives. You will have experience delivering high quality, innovative value propositions with the skills to tell a top-down story that engages executives’ attention.
  • Health and wellness industry knowledge: Experience in this industry will be considered a large plus, however it is not essential.

Person Spec

  • Minimum of 7-10 years proven B2B sales experience in an international context.
  • Minimum degree qualification in business, communications, marketing or other relevant area.
  • Self-driven: You see the potential for growth and have high self-motivation to drive this forward.
  • Strong commercial and analytical skill set in creating revenue and business plans.

Salary

  • C£100,000 per annum plus benefits and LTIP.

Location and Scope

  • London, preferably. Other UK locations will be considered.
  • Full time, on a hybrid arrangement, with regular travel to our head office in Helsinki, Finland.
