AWS Engineer - SC Cleared
What you'll need to succeed
My client is looking for an Interim AWS Engineer to join the organisation. The role is becoming of the utmost importance in the new Financial Year. Due to the high standard of technical expertise required, the client is looking for an SC Cleared AWS Engineer with the below key skills:
Key Skills:
- AWS: ECS, EC2, S3, IAM, Route 53, and VPC networking, including security groups, route tables and VPC peering
- Terraform: including deploying and maintaining complex multi-application services
- Docker: Experience of creating and maintaining complex Dockerfiles for both local development and deployed applications
- PostgreSQL: Experience with PostgreSQL database
- SQL, Python, Bash: Extensive Experience
- HTML/CSS/Javascript: Desired Experience
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills
The successful candidate will have transferable active SC Clearance and the ability to work in a hybrid environment.
You will be maintaining and improving the client's data platform, working on projects such as:
- Deploy infrastructure required to support AI analysis
- Improve database usage to make it more efficient
- Investigate ways to make the platform more cost-effective
- Improve monitoring and alerting
- Handle user-related queries and issues
